Footprints...

 Walking around life's quicksand
Measuring each step on land
Wanting to male a strong stand
Thinking to catch which hand

Everything around covered with fog
Strangling with mud to clog
Trying very hard to run and jog
But caught down like a stuck log

Down drags jealousy and doubt
Weighed down more by tears and pout
Just want to jump and go out
Preparing for sorrow's next bout

Turning around in painful pain
Washing away the impossible stain
There comes a light that is main
And pulls out all strong strain

That divine hand that guides
In mistakes, that chides
No fault to be kept in hides
But only joy that freely slides

Striking quick with speed of dart
Touching the soul from the start
So difficult to go away and part
As your footprints are in my heart...
