A sonnet to jeans

What can a piece of cloth do
A lifeless thing to put over you
Without much ado
Here is something not new

Today worships this tough material
And life without it is unthinkable
Making many dreams come real
And a lot of life very stable

It brings joys and protect
One from all heat and cold
Also seems to detect
And help pain in young and old

The fabric that has entered our very genes
Is to be agreed to be a pair of jeans...
